perflexing emotions
riddle me each day,
i look in the trash
for directions i threw away
i got lost in my misery
can't find my way
my life seems a jungle
on the road to nowhere...
will i ever wake up
to find serenity,
will time find me smiling
and carefree, out of my misery
until that day comes
i'll be sitting here in gloom
confusion and chaos in my room,
bathed in silence but lacking in peace...
but i'm not losing hope,
i'm not giving up,
confusion is not forever
after stark darkness
the brighter the light.
