My Ninja Squirrel

He's cute as a button
eyes rimmed in white
Shrimpy in stature
but boy can he fight

Hurls his whole body
straight through the air
Attacks his opponent
with Ninja warfare

Dont let'em see you
no word of a lie
Minding your business
that means... You must die

As quick as a flash
with a cry through his nose
Atakku is whistled
fur flies as he goes

Size has no meaning
to him you're fair game
This squirrel is a psycho
for Ninja's his name

~

Actually it tries to get closer to me but i wont let him. He's tried to sit on the arm of the patio chair but i just know if i let him do that he'll probably pounce at me and get caught in my hair. And i really dont need to be running around my yard trying to shake a squirrel off my head Plus squirrels are so yesterday when it comes to using them as hair accessories

This was a joy to read. Light and full of fun. I too have a psycho squirrel. He is not a ninja but he is not afraid of Anything. I think he gets a kick out of waiting on my porch till I go out then he jumps right in front of me and off the other side. I swear he looks back and laughs as he goes.

      Hiya

Loved your comment..actually he was over heated and splayed out on the cool cement but he is very aggressive.
He attacked my brother in law while he sat out on the patio.
He had the noive to turn his head away from the squirrel when it was waiting to be thrown a peanut. Patience is not a strong point with him..so he hurled his body through the air and hit Peter on the shoulder.
So glad you enjoyed this - now get to writing so i can return the favour

I can feature it now... A defender. Standing on his hind legs... A Valkyrie in red with steadfast resolve in his little beady eyes.

    His mouth opens.

He leaps and screams in Squirrel, “Banzai!” Followed by nose whistles and chirps declaring “Die Monkey Scum!”

His intruder is vanquished. The bird feeder is his!

Deeeeeeeeelightful m'dear. Personally, I love squirrels... mmmmmmmmmmmm, squirrel.... tastes like chicken!

I had a squirrel for about 2 days. On day two I left the window open and he found sweet sweet freedom. I wonder how long it took for him to get run over by a car?

Your squirell is cute and looks full of character. Its great that you can take good pictures and write too and you have found a way to combine it!

    furry critters...

Those who are wise will not come between a ninja squirrel and his nut(s) giver. Postured like a proper ninja squirrel must in peanut submission, beware for all things fair must come into play. Watch your fingers, and wear your iron gloves. ~ Ed
