Innocent eyes cries
asking why, why ?
is life so cruel.
her grimy bowl of food in hand,
with no hope of more.
look at her Innocent eyes
as the cry for help
look at her begging home
life as betrayed her, shes sighs.
shes drowning in poverty
shes all alone, and no life guards
shes chocking on the hatred
shown by greed man.
who would be cruel to young a girl
she asked?
who would ignore her daughter
when shes pleading for help.
who would let a young girl starve,?
when is his house is full of milk and honey.
look at her innocent eyes
as she cries
as she begs.
as she shed her tears.
look at her innocent eyes.
Look at her innocent eyes
be her life guard,
look at her innocent eyes
she your daughter.

real good poem. the use of repetition is very effecvite or is it affective? anywaythe topic of starving children is often forgoton and ignored and i feel so guilty when i see poverty, and i think we should all care and motivate others to care.
