I’m sorry I’m such a bitch to you,
I don’t know why I blame you for all my problems.
Every time I turn around you’re there,
Making sure I’m alright.
But I fight you,
And I can’t bring myself to like you enough.
You have done so much for me,
And you know me so well.
But still I push you away,
Still I try to hurt you.
So,
If you read this,
I want you to know,
Even though you helped cause so much trouble,
That trouble would have come anyway,
I just couldn’t admit it.
If you do read this,
I’m sorry if I hurt you,
And thank you,
For being there.

A paean of pain
This poem tells the reader so clearly that it hurts to love and trust. When someone gives you unconditional love it is very hard to accept it, especially if you do not love and value yourself.
The emotion and the message of this poem is very clear.
