Arachnid webs bridge
islands of memories, choking
pleas of turmoiled reason
caught in withered nerves.
Mildew of forgotten words
Haunt asphalt towers
where memories wilt,
and nimbus beguiles thought.
Troubled remembrance of
Cobwebbed faces -
A glimmer of recognition, before
Bridges collapse.
Another spell, of
induced insomnia
paralyze the soul - lost,
In chambers of dementia.

Very nice job with the prompt. Very sad and dark. Thanks for entering!

Wow this must be an awful world to live in and the ones around you must suffer too. I can't even imagine what it must be like. Wonderful imagery and emotion expressed
