Stuck here in this hypnotic phase,
Hapilly ever after searching for a buzz.
Can never handle being sober,
Sick and tired of hearing I have a problem.
My addiction are in my grip being controled,
Line after line of white powder up my nose.
Smiling in glee as the rush is brought on,
Horribly empty when the comming down begins.
Drink after drink, night after night,
The partying is never ending.
Searching for the never ending high,
I know its unatainable, I'll falter.
Drugs are my ultimate healing,
Alcohol is my pain killer.
This is the life of an addict,
Shutting their eyes and denying the truth.

Sad but True
My dear sweet friend Chrissy you have really written a poetic masterpiece in its own little way. your message is true and strongly worded and I really like that. the poem has such an unique depth and flare through out that I was quite impressed. what really hit us the viewers most is how descriptive in so fe wof words and lines your pome here is. It is sad to know this of an addict but its very well penned and gives us all insight on this addictive world of drug dealers. very well penned and keep up the good work.
Signed, Paul

Such is the life ofthe empty soul.
It must be filled with something, why not something that makes it ffeel good for a little while.
