Enchanted Garden

Art wondrously arises from the heart of the Most High.
So then let us swallow His sunset and drink in His sky.
No muse, borrowed from nature, can compare to this sight.
He’s the Master Gardener bringing forth from Dead the Light.

Flowers mirror colors of His Rainbow on woven carpets green.
Thrilling sounds of serenity cascade by while mockingbirds sing.
Time seems endless here, as beautiful swans float peacefully by.
Within the path, of this garden, answers come to questions of why.

Oh that I’d capture the rainbow, with its wonders on cloth of men!
Thus drinking beauty in, lifting the soul, to inspire again and again.
At the dawn of moonlight, this lattice bed between trees holds me.
Life and death are of one, as the river flow out to parts of the sea.

Heart beating in-sync, breath-taking splendors bow me to this shrine.
Words cannot take form for gratefulness that fills my cup, so divine.
Rest is reason; more is passion, yet I’m awed by this gallery displayed.
The School of Seasons leads us to rest, praising for the love conveyed.

Author notes

I love you when you bow in your mosque, kneel in your temple, pray in your church. For you and I are sons of one religion, and it is the spirit." -Kahlil Gibran, "The Voice of the Poet"
