Forgive me father, as I kneel before you.
Prayer bestowed upon me for trials and tribulation.
I give of myself, to the heavens, pay my dues,
grant me everlasting peace and salvation.
At your alter, I beckon, as you guide me right from wrong,
and cast within my earthly shell, to stand proud and strong.
Let not fear conquer me, with you, I shall pray,
where I will return the gift you give, each and every day.
With silence, I have vowed, in your light I'll stand,
expose my soul, my body, and all that I am.
To change what I have known, to learn all you feed,
I've given all I have, that you may see my need.

Thanks first for the info on the picture!
I was able to look her up and even more understand what the picture is saying!
And your words are even clearer and more heartfelt!
Wonderful poem here - a prayer for all!
Thanks

Wow!
This is a really powerful write. I am certain that the prompt is exactly what you have scribed. There is a lot of heart and soul poured into this beautiful prayer. I can only in agreement say "amen"
