I like this poem very much indeed! There are several reasons--as if they needed to be told! The first is the completely natural form, as real as quiet conversation. Some people try for years and never achieve its effortlessness.
Second is the fact of total competence. No error in syntax, spelling, or grammar hides its meaning!
The third is its surprise ending. It sets us up playfully, for we trust its truth completely, and then--the TOPIC of this whole exercise!
If this does not win, I will be very diappointed!
