Let it Rain Forever
I look into the sky,
dark clouds slowly
roll into the valley,
thunder echoing
in the distance.
A breeze picks up
changing the scent of the air.
It feels cool,
against my cheeks and
makes my nose starts to run.
Rain starts to fall,
my glasses get all spotted up,
cool raindrops land on my face,
sparkling like diamonds,
rubbing them only my face.
It feels so refreshing,
like its cleansing my soul.
Taking away my pain
washing away into small
puddles on the ground.
Feeling so good deep inside.
I jump and splash
in the puddles beneath my feet.
I never thought,
freedom could feel this good.
I close my eyes feeling the,
raindrops creating streams
traveling down my cheeks,
neck, chest, navigating my body
in a magical way.
I smile and feel the rain
dances on my teeth,
my lips, as I
opening my eyes
I behold such beauty
Through my rain spotted glasses,
I see a rainbow with
soft and yet, vibrant colours,
smiling just for me.
Filling my soul with its beauty.
I have but one wish,
for the rain
never to stop.
So I can feel this great
Until I draw my last breath.

I love the rain it reflects my mood lately. The sun seems to shine less now. I love how you capture the beauty of rain in the very essence of her beauty. Nature and life needs balance to maintain eternal beauty in one heart and soul.

As a kid in summer, dressed in bathing suit, it was great, like this. But that was then, and now it serves to show me how very long ago that must have been. Can't remain so young forever.
Now? This poem almost makes me appreciate rain other than as relief from a two-month drought! Tsk!
