Would you?

If you knew the things that I knew,
Would you cry the same tears I cried?

If you knew the pain I felt,
Would you hurt in the same places?

If you knew the shame I used to hide,
Would you help me cover it up?

If you knew why I did what I did,
Would you still walk away?

If you knew of all my unanswered plea's,
Would you still visit my grave?

Don't take this the wrong way, but alot of what Ive read in the few poems of yours, I see me, but in a different aspect, i can't relate it isnt my right to do so, we all walk paths so dark so not, reading this
:If you knew why I did what I did,
    Would you still walk away?
in the end my friends did, I don't blame them, only so much a person can take till it overflows, your words i felt were both emotionally charged and deep.
    Glad I had a read.

Wonderful flow, enjoyed the imagery, death by suicide is always painful. Terrific poem, thank you for sharing!

I enjoyed this piece, Claire, because I thought you put a lot of emotion and feelings into the write. I also enjoyed the wording and flow you put in the lines...

I wouldn't mind getting a longer version of this, though, because I usually like poems that are 20+ lines, which is what most of your writings are. But I still enjoyed this a lot.

Keep up the good work, Claire!

That song is amazing isn't it. I came across it youtube-ing for self harm videos Haha stupid me.

Anyway, I love the semi-rhetorical questions. You can't truly answer them all the time, at least that's what I believe anyway. This is just a beautiful piece of work darling, I can see how much your pain reflects your art and you're improving so very much. I want you to know that where you go, I go.

    Bandaid.

Very interesting thoughts youi have penned here. Taken literally I think everyone reacts to people and events differently and it would be hard to say if they woulkd react the same as another person.
Hpowever a true friend would stand by you and help you through problems too.
    Thanks for sharing

True, but at the end the person commits suicide, but it doesnt really convey that very well.
      thanks for the comment Grandmama
