It is such as we see
Out within the haze
Gathering sorrows make their way
Amidst these cloudy days
The limits of mere factuality
Hold these lights to be
Unwelcome inconveniences
So we choose to run from thee
Thy own presence becomes the cause
Of idle days that strain
We cry in trial and speak thy flaws
But feel only pain
To condemn thy every sullen drop
We deny what we need
This animation we wish to stop
To fill with hate and greed
Within this sad obsession grows
A calloused sense of right
Blinding, fading till it slows
Simplicity to plight
To fix our discommoding dread
Simplicity must we find
Life, hope to us instead
Of a hindrance so unkind
But only when our need is great
Do we call upon thy name
Come in haste and dont be late
To save our hearts so vain
For life it brings to every part
Cool, calming, and serene
A saving grace to every heart
Living to purify and to clean
When anon the skies surrender
To the weight of coming rain
Heed its grace and splendor
To await its come again

Superb, you put much thought into this, yes rain can be very inconvenient and frowned upon; but it is the very essence of existence and heavily relied upon despite the lack of respect it is shown until we are in dire need. Well done, you made your point perfectly.
