Should I call it a failure of our love?
Or perhaps just a break from what we shared,
And I thought that you were sent from above.
I thought I had someone who truly cared.
Someone that I could hold for all of time,
Who could hold me in my times of need too.
And to think this love would change on a dime,
But even through it all I still love you.
I just wish you felt the same way as me,
And the love we shared could bring itself back.
Then you could see that it was meant to be,
And you could see as a matter of fact;
That even though we are over and through,
Never has one affected me like you.
