She is generous, always giving,
as gracious as the day is long,
acquaintances, friends and family
sing her beautiful song...
Like a festive banner waving in the sky,
I think of my friend and know it is I;
I am the lucky one, the way it should be -
to be her friend is to always be happy.
Sweet, silky rose among thorns; she lends
her fragrance to everyone of her friends.
Her pure and generous heart surround
those of us who suddenly become whole.
We are all recipients as she lives
forever in our universal soul...

Those feelings she is experiencing can be described
as a quiet and pleasant understanding of the love she
feels from her friends and family; the honor and
devotion they all hold within their hearts, just to
have her as a part of their lives... This sonnet is
dedicated to my friend, Dolores Craig, aka "Lady
Ireland." Thank you for being a true friend, Dolores!
