Why do I write?
Such a simplistic
Yet overly weighted question
My writing is not really writing
What you interpret as my writing
Is actually a painting
An honest attempt
For me to learn who I am
When I am putting myself on paper
I
Do
Not
Think
I
Just
Do
Thinking takes time away
From the process
Of putting myself on paper
You may call me a writer
But you are wrong
I am a painter
Who paints with words
My pen is my brush
And my canvas
Is my notebook
And when I am painting with words
I
Do
Not
Think
I Just
Do
Sharing my paintings with the public
Is not for my benefit
It is not for everyone to look at
Sharing my paintings
Gives me the opportunity
To learn about every single person
That looks at them
I use my paintings as tools
To delve deeper and deeper
Into the psyche
Of society
Just think of my paintings
As positive reinforcement
For the knowledge
That you didn't even know
You are sharing with me

I love how you make it as it's a painting. I totally agree with this, although I do not fallow by it. This is one one the best poems I have ever read (Looked at. lol) This also made me think of why I write. You are a really good writer.
