I miss you, in it's true sense I miss you
I remember your words on chat "Can I kiss you?"
I wish you also tell me "I miss you"
I wish you sit silently beside me
I wish you say someday "Kiss me"
I miss those moments when we were together
I miss those talks when we were idiots together
I miss your stopping me because you felt shy
I want to be stupid when you are around me
I want, yet, you to believe that it's me
I, on a beautiful day, could tell you I love you
I miss those moments when I heard the same from you
Now, you are far but your memories are with me
They are what make me feel you are still with me
In photo or in dreams, whenever I see you
I get an image of a lovely and beautiful you
Your memories fill my days and nights with joy
Just like a kid has found again his favourite toy
My love-story is small but very beautiful, it's true
Because in it, there is none other than you.

i am not gonna believe if you say that this is your first piece... No way am i gonna believe that. No man, and that would include the great shakespeare too, could have created such a beautiful piece of poetry in his first try. Dude.. this is awesome, plz do tel the truth, this is not your first work right? Or maybe you've got this edited by someone who has been writing for quite a while... i shall comment further only after knowing the truth from you.
And as far my experience after reading this work.. its exhilarating. Such lovely words, straight from heart that enters straight into heart. amazing..

a truly uplifting verse depicts longing for the lover... despite repition of words, it reads fine because it's written straight form heart... good work...

I did not want to cry today
but that is what happened when I read this. I just split with my ex recently and I feel the same about her. But I love her enough to have let her go. Thanks for the simple fact that someone else has the same sentiment. A straight to the point and lovely pen you have posted here. Thanks very much for the words of familiarity.
