Parents

Parents they may not be liked by some people and that is true,
i love my parents and i hope you do too,
there are many parents,
some are big some are small,
and some are fat and some not at all,
they got upset for us running down the halls,
and we even drove them up the walls,
but no matter what we did they will always be there,
there because they care, and maybe they care because we do,
i hope my parents will be around alot longer than they think,
and before my dad dies, i will buy him  his one last drink,
well i hope im not a dope, cause thats the worst way to think,
my parents mean the world to me, and there is always a space in the family tree,
sometimes i get down on my knees and pray that my parents will still be around,
around to say MOM AND DAD i still love u here today.

    This is a great tribute to your mom and your dad.Your feelings are great for them as I am sure that theirs is great for you.To many kids in the world today do not like their parents and when they get older never tell them that they don't love them or never come to visit them.You show alot of love and respect and the words you chose to say that were perfect.I love this poem it is truely heartfilled and honest.Glad I got the chance to read it.

    Honey ... Your parents ... absolutely love you ... and you know that ... Your mom watches over you like a hawk ... especially when you are Ill ... and your dad ... well he is a strong man ... and you two have a bond that is unbreakable ... You are a lucky man to have both your parents in your life ... You are a wonderful person ... and this poem ... made me cry ... As I am sure you parents would too if they read it ... It is very beautiful ... I am not big on criticizing punctuation cause I don't use them most the time myself ... It was the poem that struck me hard ... it was very emotional ... and very caring ... Your words were spoken well ... Love ya doll face ... keep up the good work ... you will get a lot better with time ... I promise ...

    Is there another line in this? It seems incomplete. You should either add another line or take out the last comma. Other than that, this is a really sweet poem. Keep writing!
