It destroyed me
Each time you hit I fell
Each time you moved I crawled
You made my life a living hell


You captivated me
That sly smile
That gleam in your eye
To you I was no more than something vile

I was nothing
A fallen dream
Caught in a trap of your extremes
But I found the key

    powerful & moving

    very powerful and moving, it made me want to throw a
    luscious dinner and dance to loud music and laugh loudly
    and go buy an outrageous pair of shoes!
