Where does our universe end?
is there some great wall
or high fence encompassing?
what do you think
is on the other side?
Does it go on forever?
could Heaven lie just
over the threshold
of its cosmic door?
I believe we are separated
by a few remaining ticks
before we go up
in a big bang,
since the atom bomb
reared its ugly head
and evolved into a
more hideous monster;
I hear old man time as he weeps,
afraid he may not be able
to procure another year,
his gnarled hands
extend to Earth’s womb,
a stillborn lies breached ;
His hands will rise in surrender
to the feared midnight hour,
when he goes cuckoo
unable to fly away.

I hear old man time as he weeps,
afraid he may not be able
