Patriotism Between The Lines-3 Haiku

Mirages take shape,
The sun heats up, the night cools,
Deserts make great men.

Blue birds, red robins
color Christmas snow, won't run
Fly proud under stars

Snow in September
New Yorkers still shoveling
Below Ground Zero

It is difficult to make a haiku which is very much in my opinion a poem about nature into a patriotic poem. These are very good images, The last poem stands ou the most and I enjoyed it very much
