Hey Dad! Where are you? With your big ole eyes of blue!

You know it's been almost a year...many nights I still shed a tear.

It seems so long since you've been gone...I try so hard to stay strong.

So many memories I do miss...especially your heart warm hug and kiss.

Are you in a better place? Do you wear a smile upon your face?

I remember you sent a shooting star...so we would know where you are.

Do you still whistle as the bird does sing? Do you now fly on the eagles wing?

Are you at peace? Are you content? Do you still have your memories...of

the time we've spent? I can't help but wonder...if they were taken away,

on that sad and dreadful day. I no longer see you...you now live in my heart,

I will never allow us to ever part!
