Dreams,
A state which your warm, strong arms cradle me to sleep
My emotions aroused,
and my body is poised,
It's beyond all control.
Distance,
That's just a number,
Another state of saying,
"We've never been so close, but yet we are so far apart"
When I am awake.
Darkness,
A blanket covering the light
With no beginning or end for my eyes to trace
And with no safety light,
I am lost.
Delicious,
Sweet traces of you
Left in your words and pictures
It's why saying goodbye
is nearly as satisfying as saying "Hello"
Destiny,
The glue that sticks me to you,
Entwined in this sensation,
My heart, body and soul,
Desperately longing for you.
Author notes
There's no real 'story' to this piece. It's just the words associated with my love life at the moment. xD
If you want, call it a dictionary of words and what they mean something to me. Yeah...

another good piece of work, i liked the bit when u said "It's why saying goodbye is nearly as satisfying as saying "Hello"" you have these deep phrases in your poems which make you think, i like that
