Sincere Regrets

My apologies


Being in a group
It’s like a bowl of soup
But if you don’t try it, you’ll end up out of the loop.

I can’t be mad
I can’t be blue, it’s a rule
But forgive me if real life takes precedence

But answer me this, amuse me, bring me bliss
Whatever happened to cordiality?
If I haven’t responded, let me know the rule
Even if it’s posted, what’s so hard about a reminder?
Don’t they even do that in school?

I know, I know, we’re all adults and should know the score
But more and more
All Poetry, like MySpace, 360 and Multiply
Is turning into a bore of cliques, clichés and clusters
Of conglomerated controllers,
Designed to constrain the very captivation of this corner

With that said,

I apologize

To anyone that I’ve offended
To anyone whose groups I’ve neglected
Feel free to remove me at your leisure
I won’t have a seizure
And I certainly won’t post another piece
Like this one

I’ve had my fun
But real life is the one true piece
That’s worth writing about

In other words,
It’s not that deep
The only thing I could give a true *bleep* about
Is the clout that I gain through real life
And the strife that truly makes me grow as a man

Certainly not the aborted, self-aggrandizing plan
Of any woman, boy, girl or man
Within the matrix known as the world wide web

Oh, and PS….

I really thought your group was different
But with all my might, I hate NEVER being right
About things that ultimately make me see the aborted light
Of the groups of All Poetry.com
