Spending her childhood chasing after boys
Now a young woman, not making much noise.
Afraid of the life bestowed upon her
Hurt from the pain she has had to endure.
The boys always ran as she was a kid
They never stopped nomatter what she did.
Once she ceased, they continued duties
Girls were "icky" and they had "cooties."
As they grew up it turned out she wasn't pretty,
Boys wanted preppy girls, skinny, and witty.
Then entering high school, that girl changed,
Her entire body rearranged.
Boys noticed and wanted that girl,
They wanted to be her entire world.
Older men even took a second glance,
She decided to give [them] a chance.
Heartbreak after heartbreak she gave another,
She piled on the lies that she told her mother.
On day, one guy broke her right in half,
He stopped her smiles and ended her laugh.
Then for months, he played games with her heart,
And with every word, ripped her apart.
She finally broke down to her final end,
When that boy dated her best friend.
By then she tore in every direction,
Lost all hope, emotion, and affection.
It took months to snap her back,
Her life had been thrown entirely off track.
Now that girl is lost and confused,
Sick of getting hurt, and afraid of being used.
She misses the days when cooties were had,
Drugs were unheard of and cigarettes were bad.
Those days when life was simple and good,
Boys had cooties; that was understood.
But things change once you get older,
Life gets hard and the world becomes colder.

Not reallly sure of my own opinion on this one. It's alright, it mostly sums up a bit of my failure in the "love life."
Please tell me what you think
