The #1 Team

Missing image
I’m a New England Patriot Buff
The team of Red, White & Blue
A squad that plays with all their heart
They are tried, tested & true

Great Brady was willing to give
Both of his money and heart
To keep all the great players
His integrity to impart

Three of four Super Bowls were won
By the strength of Brady’s pass
But Belichick is my hero
He proved his team has class

He took a team, he made them strong
Believing in their power
And through his knowledge of football
All his rivals were devoured

So I will cheer at every game
For my team so grand
And on that very Special day
Trophy four we'll have in hand

    First, I have to say that this is an excellent poem. I am not a fan of the Patriots but this is still a great poem. I do have to disagree though with one thing and it is just my opinion, as all 3 of their super bowls were won not by Bradys arm, but by Vinitaris foot...each game was a 3 point victory.

      You are right about the Superbowl itself - I was talking about all the games that lead up to the superbowl. You can't play in the superbowl unless you win the other games. But you are right about Vinateri. I was very upset when he went to the Colts. By the way that is my husband's team and we have some rough days when they play each other. Thanks for the trophy.     Hannah will love this but Brady is her hero!! Great job on this and you should send a copy of it to the Patriots team. They could hang it in their locker room love the picture and the background music and beat. Another great poem from you!!!~~Toni~~

    Nice. I'll admit I'm not a Patriots fan, but they're not a bad team. I like the support here. Wonderfully protrayed, easy to tell where your loyalties lie. GOod luck in the contest. God Bless!
