We've both been through the wringer;
Of this there is no doubt,
But I thank God for the sorrows
That led us to this route.
I tried to take this slowly;
To hold my feelings back,
But you're everything I've dreamed
With your values still intact!
You've had the chance to follow
The ways of this earth
But you realized the value
That true purity is worth.
" 'Purity' says 'True Love Waits'."
How cool is it our rings
Not only follow this phrase,
They say the exact same things!
Funny I should mention love
In the stanza before.
For this poems true purpose is
To show you inside my core.
The core of me is my heart,
It overflows with love.
Do not worry for with me,
There shall always be enough!
I've been tip toeing around
The words I wish to say.
...I'm falling more in love with you
Each and every day!

I'm glad you showed it tome, to the rest of us. Its really a touching and tender poem about both your promises to yourself and in continuence of that your devotion to each other.
The rhyme is well done. Not a single spot is it ever questionable and you stayed away from alot of the cliche rhymes you see in love poems. And as good as the rhyme was the rythm was even better. It was perfectly smooth throughout the poem. I ver much enjoyed reading this poem.
