Strings

Newton tried
Einstein got closer
Then these quantum physicists
Wrote it all over

First it was direct proportion
Then Lorentz provided the answer
I'm talking about gravimetric distortion
Physics latest inoperable cancer

String theories might provide a way

To unite the law of gravity

With everything that's hangin' around

Listen, can you hear a sound?

Its Whitton working hard on the problem,

Its Greene writing a book to understand them

Its me dreaming, one day, of the solution

Its strings, vibrating through several dimensions

Strings, physics inoperable cancer

'Till we figure out, the final answer

I'll be waiting at the end of my degree

To combine this field with relativity

    Not bad at all

Good subject matter and content, rhyming scheme gets a bit lost but you obeyed the rules, good luck!

    Love it!

    fantastic!
so tell me...why cant you make that much sense when your not writing poetry?
i really enjoyed reading that. it has a really good rhythm and (im assuming this is just me and my wierd scientific mind but...) it kinda bounces, has a happy bubbly feel to it, relativity...string theory...quantum physics...ace!

also i love the use of the prase "ioperable cancer"
overall really well written, enjoyable poetry. x

Haha. Science and rhyming always comes out soo dorky.

On another note, eww string theory.

On another another note, 'I'm talking about gravimetric distortion' - I lol'ed.
