Chad,
i dont know what to say anymore except that i cant sleep because i know that it is over between us. it is a different feeling for me, one that i never expected, but looking back, i suppose it couldnt have ended another way.
you and i are different people, we come from two different people and ideas, but yet you were the one who taught me the things about love, the feeling, the beauty. you showed me what it was like to really care about another, i am a better person because of you. i dont want you to ever forget that.
i am not bitter, nor do i regret what has happened, in fact, i feel great to know that at one point, for however long, what we had was real. and i am happy to know that we could come together for the short time we shared. And if, in some distant place in the future, we see each other in our new lives, i will smile at you with love, and remember the many times we spent together, learning from each other and growing in love. And maybe, for a moment, you'll feel it too, and you'll smile back, and think of the memories we will always share together.

my love letter to him. i gave this to him when i realized myself that we were over. he hugged me, told me he loved me and that he was sorry we didnt work.
he comes back from basic training in 4 months, he says he wants me back, but for reasons i dont know anymore, i dont want to go to him. i want to move away. i wrote this crying.

This was beautiful and heartfelt, and sad and sweet. I'm sorry it's over between you, but it sounds like you got a lot of meaning from your relationship. It's good that you can accept it and move on, and realize just what good that the relationship had. I can tell that you meant everything you said; it was sincere and honest.

well, i just hope it gets easier. ive tried over and over again to let him go, and right now, im trying even harder. you see i met this guy and he helps me forget chad when im with him.
