Considering that you entered this because I clearly stated not to enter anything too complex, I actually thought that this was hilarious. [Not this poem, but your motive] haha. Good Job actually though. Your IQ isn't pathetic, and I take everything back.

Is this a poem or just a grotesquely long list of facts? Really, I'm wasn't expecting Rainer Maria Rilke to pop up in this contest, but I didn't expect someone copying out a textbook about the different constituent states of the USA and centre-alligning it either.
This says absolutely zero. Sorry. -
wow, this is a great educational poem, probally one of the most history packed poems i've ever read on this site. Ecxellent job, great descrption of wisconsin

I like it, I like it so!

Amen
Our country is still the best their is in this world we must get our priorities and love back on track for all nations fall if we let greed and hate take the lead . We so need to join hands and let our government know we know the rules and beginning today we shall decide how it is to be run for our leaders have truly forgotten about those who makes this country the greatest ever . Its time for the tyccoons to be put out to pasture and feel what they have caused us to feel its time their piggy banks were broken and used up to get this country back on track .

-
haha you don't even live in the U.S. and you know more than I do about it.

Nice write with this, really informative. It was ironic that as I sit here I have a guitar in my lap listening to (and trying to learn) Sweet Home Alabama for guitar, and that was the first state mentioned (I realize it is in alphabetical order, still found it interesting.)
Nice job with this, thanks for taking the time.

I loved this poem, it was a very unique poem, and that's what kept your attention, and made you want to keep reading it, the time and effort, put into this poem, must be amazing, i commend you for taking the time to write this poem, it was very informational actually, a lot of stuff about the states that i really did not know, the flow is impeccable , and it just flows, there is really no pauses, you just flow all the way through to the end , the tribute aspect of this poem is very good, the meaning and the dedication to America, was a good topic, and it was very sweet , and patriotic, I like the use, of researched used, and you can tell a lot went into this poem,
My favorite state is:Springfield is the State capital of Illinois

It is wonderful for those who have lived in the US part or all of their lives to see the point of view of someone who has not, the things that stand out. I tend to forget to notice things so familiar, when i lived in Washington DC i rarely went to see any sights unless a visitor came to to town...so this reminds me to notice some things...very well done...thanks...PK

P.S
You do deserve a clappy, because it took effort to organize those facts and shows you indeed do have a passion for America.
-
I will probably be the only one to admit to this. I did not read this all the way through. It's a listing of facts. Very interesting facts, no doubt, but not very poetic. I hope you aren't too offended by my honesty. I could see these printed in a travel guide however.
-
sorry but this piece is way too long for me to read right now as my eyes are pretty tired
i will return to it later perhaps.

WOW! Now this is truly amazing...all the wonderful facts on every state written so well...as I read them I smiled remembering some of the things I love so much about many of the states I have lived in. Honestly, you could put some of us who live here to shame, for I am sure many do not know as much as you have written on all the beautiful state that make up our country...truly a wonderful dedication to this beautiful country of ours...
Thank you, you have honored us all.
Love,
mystic
