You!
You said I was a beauty
You said my neck was like a swan’s
You said my eyes were like a doe’s
You said my legs were like a gazelle’s
You said my lips were like petals
You said my breath smelled like a rose
You said my voice was like velvet
You said my skin was like satin
You said my breasts were like ripe fruits
You said my hair went on forever
You said my teeth were like dewdrops
You said my eyelashes were like fans
You said my eyebrows were perfect bows
You said… you said…
You've walked out the door
But your baby…
She looks just like me…
Author notes
A 16yr old friend of mine just got knocked up by a 21 year old guy. In Nigeria, there is more than just a bit of stigma associated with unwed mothers. Though some men do stand by their women, it's usually easy for the guy involved to deny the baby and walk off.

Yea people say a lot of things you just have to know what to believe and who to open your legs up too because for a man it will always be that to walk away but for a mother it will be harder
