What difference will it make now
my voice is almost gone
so many died before me unnoticed
what took your attention so long
Don't tell me you didn't know
it's been reported for months on end
guess because we had no oil
there was no reason for troops to send.
All my family is long since gone
not one of them did survive
I've lost everything precious
to me children my wife
They kill us because we're
black and not Moslem faith
you ignore us because we're
poor and have a black face
Let me tell you
with my last words said
there is no forgiveness
granted to you when I'm dead

they kill you because they are evil not because of your color or your faith. They kill me daily so that I die daily. The systems of order are our killers.

Oh wow...There's one thing I had a fit about (lol, I'm an editor, bear with me!) and it was that you wrote "so may died" perhaps instead of "so many died"? Easy typo. Hey! I saw this was in my contest! Well, was for a minute or so. Great job anyway. Kind of a stick-in-the-eye at the government, because we're killing people, including us!, over in Iraq but are doing nothing in Darfur. Great job, Wind Walker. You should reconsider the contest. It's a great piece.
