Nightingales sing softly in her favor
Images swim from beneath the oceans floor
God gave her great the gift of inspiring
He gave her that and talent galore
Today I share my humble praise
Here upon pages of tribute
Only wish I could render more
Planets chase her in pursuit
Every time I feel her presence
I smile at the enchantment that she wears
Sometimes we meet a precious spirit
And place them in our pocket for safe-keeping
Blessed are we all that view her words
Each day she flutters more like butterflies
And tends to all in need of support
Up-lifting those who seem down low
Teach me how to shed the same light
Infectious sprays and showers of good fortune
For days are shortened when we do not heed
Umbrellas overhead to shield from rain
Listen and you'll hear her whispered kinship
Sparing those who would suffer from life's hurt
Placing lines together with heartfelt citations
In ways that many can not find inside
Run to her with glad tidings and she smiles
In every instance she gives of herself
Today my humble verse, a gift of accolades

And it makes me want to know the story behind writing it, what kind of idea you ahd in your head, becasue to me it sounds so mysterious, but at the same time so revealing like its right there, but its not!!!!! I reall enjoyed absorbing your words!!!!! they made me smile, and drift from sentence to sentence like on a cloud of dreams!!!!!

This is a beautiful penning that captures Wanda's beauty and talent in such a wonderful way. You've managed to capture the essence of her spirit with this one, Renee - and wow, in an acrostic form too - excellent. Thank you for this entry, but most of all for the love and kindness that shines like the stars on this page.

I'm familiar with her by name only. This is such a sweet natured tribute to someone you obviously admire greatly. Good luck in the contest.
Sincerely,

A gift to Night Hope, a poet in motion. Her words sing to us like long lost songs from the sea. Carried through the winds the calm the storms. Her words see us through in times of troubled waters. Wonderful dedication to a fine poetress. Our "Swanee"...~Sie

uuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... Stunning. Not preoccupied with one element, but the totality of
what is for us to understand by the cosmos, its mystery, solace, and point of heavenly light.
. I like the genderizing of this nourishing
spirit. What can I say? It's self-evident with the
emotional blankets that provide for the brood of our
young, and the recipients of God's best. Design of the woman, the half-portion of full strength.
this should be difinitive of a womanly design. ...very proverbial in description: Love it
Up-lifting those who seem down low
Teach me how to shed the same light
Infectious sprays and showers of good fortune
A seal of approval here that graces our demeanor!
Love always, CookieZ/Di

Ohhh, if only I could, Renee. I would paint this parchment with a broad stroke, easing everyone's burdens they must bear...but without them, would we really ever become the people we must be??? What a beautiful, thoughtful, soulful penning, my Friend...& in acrostic form, too...Thank you for your wonderful words, my Sister...I'm pleased our wings brush in mid~flight, for you are all these things you say of me, as well. Good luck in Mary & Nic's contest, Sweetie...
