When I look in the mirror
I don’t like what I see
I am not the same person
That I used to be
What happened to the young girl?
That once was me
Now I’ve aged with time
And I don’t like what I see
My hair is gray
I have wrinkles too
My eyes look smaller
And less bright too
My body has changed
That hurts the most
I want a young slim body
Like the one I used to know
Less fat on the belly
The legs and the behind
This can’t be my body
The mirror
Must lie
People say that growing old
Is a beautiful thing
As we have learned so much
And have made some beautiful memories
Bu when you look in the mirror
And everything has changed
I’m not sure that growing old
Is to much fun for me
Life goes on
The outside shell fades
Guess that all comes
With old age
I hope the old saying is true
That beauty can be found within
Cause when I look at the mirror
I don’t like what I see
And wonder what other’s think
When they look
At me

Happiness is a butterfly
Which, when pursued, is just out of grasp . . .
But if you will sit down quietly,
May alight upon you -- Nathaniel Hawthorne
Great work
and Im sure when people look at you they see you, because what someone sees in you, you dont see in yourself
great poem!!
