Goodbye To Kae

Dear Cassandra,

You were always everything to me.
I never knew a love like yours
And nothing,
Not your eating disorder,
Not your self doubt,
Has changed all the beauty I see in you

You shine so bright in my dark dark life.
But then
When I try to run to you
You push me out
"Suck it up!"
You tell me

Well Cassandra don't cry to me when Thorin leaves
'Cause we all see he's not right for you
I see it
Your sister sees it
Your parents remain cautious
And yet you are so blind...

I was so in love with you
And you dumped me by the side of the road
And left me for dead

So if you're leaving, then stay out of my life

Oh dearest Cassandra,
You've gone too far this time...

Author notes

She was my best friend, and she abandoned me, this is something she'll never read, that I needed to write...

    pretty.

it is good to get everything all out on paper. it makes you feel better. even if you dont ever give her this.
*shrugs* for some reason this part stuck out to me..
And you dumped me by the side of the road
    And left me for dead

    its unique. i like it.
i also like the thought at the end
    good luck in the contest.

Oh my, this is sad my friend, I've definitely been here. Feel better, I'm always here if you want to talk. Much love<3

Keep your chin up, she'll realize what she had and lost.

    sad....
it is good to get stuff like that out of your system, so you can maybe sort it out better than in your head.

i like how you finish all your stuff with like... a final word. a big, dramatic statement summing everything up. well done
