Which Ranuncula Am I Today?

The beat of a garden
errupts, and grows clandestine in the ether
in the rains, destructions and trees of oak
Where is the heart?
And the pulse, find it below
These myriad chimes
and the tangled stars of rhyme
just over the Mediterranean midst
reform, reform, as a molding matrix
But reason is as reason does, tearing and pulling
and reason is as it penetrates any rose
or rim of the faulty faced ranuncula
no prince here, i've leered
into vowels and consanants of any crisp
and not even frogs will come crawling out today
the time is too much
the choke cracks croaks
and good ol' Cerb in the road is calling my way
deserving no honey, i delay --
the monster, woman or snake?
