drama 'quine

black cloud advances-
muscles twitch, prepared for flight
anticipating
nostrils flare and ears alert
as instinct plans survival

eyes reflecting wild
lightening flashes, hooves thunder
racing for escape-

the barn door swings open to
sweet feed in a warm, dry stall

These are excellent tankas. You can sense their motions and that is not easily done with verse such as this. Well done

This sums up horses so well, half the time they don't know what they are afraid of themselves silly things. But arent they beautiful.
