If I could take time away
from every single day,
and put it all aside inside a little jar,
I'd wrap my present tenderly,
holding it so carefully,
then send it off to you when I'm afar.
Inside, the time is just for you,
memories of skies so blue,
days when we were together and alive.
Hoping that my love goes through,
hoping our feelings are true,
the memory of you is how I'll survive.
So if you can take time for me,
I will save our time, you'll see,
all so I can spend more time with you.
For one day I might be away,
off to face a harder day,
but with our time, the skies will stay so blue.

I wrote this for Sterces out of a sudden burst of emotions that came up. ^^;

Yes it is very lovely. Poetic in a simple way that you want to take time that is so precious to both of you and hold it so dear. As if one movement could make it shatter as glass hitting the floor. Or break as butterfly wings would at any kind of pressure.
