ushered in my fortuitous destiny
I am in awe of your beauty
Angelic butterfly of enchanted wonder
Reflecting the many hues
of an endless rainbow
Take flight and be free
on the winds of rapture
Heaven bound in twilight
of blissful mourning
Sing salutations of delight
for you have blessed this
mortal soul with the gift
of rebirth

This is so uplifting and what a way to awaken in the morning with such a positive outlook. Oh yes the beauty of nature and the gentleness and beauty of a butterfly. This poem is so rich with imagery yet also full of wonderful wisdom. The flow was excellent and was a pure joy to read. Beautifully Calming
Darell, this is truly beautiful. I love how the narrator addresses the other and how gorgeous and calming this whole piece is. It's obviously filled with such a vital energy, and yet it is so calming. I believe the title really captures this piece, captured glory, because of glory being so wonderfully grand and yet calming and exciting at the same time. That's truly what I feel from this piece. The rhythm and flow and word choice of the entire piece goes together beautifully, and I am really proud of this piece even if it is not mine. :-) I think butterflies are truly gorgeous creatures, and I believe you've served them well. Can't wait to read your next piece, Darrell.
