science project is due in two weeks,
i've got plenty of time to do this,
already have the posterboard ready,
the markers are under my messy bed.
but why is my bed so messy, i think,
and start to clean my bed off instead,
now my room is much more beautiful,
and three hours of hard work it took.
science project is due in a week,
i write it down in my agenda today,
the need to finish, or rather start
burns inside of me, ready to be done.
oh, but dad put the markers downstairs,
he had found them under my bed, scattered,
so i hop down each stair to go get them,
when i see mom is making brownies. i help.
science project is due tomorrow, i scream,
i grab the markers and start my project,
not caring how messy it turns out to be,
the fear of failure allows me to finish soon.
i roll it up, satisfied with the quality,
and bring it into the school, up to science,
putting down my project as mr.bailey says,
"i've extended the due date until monday."
Author notes
haha my science teacher was a big pushover, but i was still very upset when this happened because i had finished in one night. but then again, i shouldn't have procrastinated. hahaha.

Sounds like to me the teacher got one over the students for he procrastinated with the extension on the deadline. Which is truly hilarious in itself. However, the great thing about your procrastination is that you are now no longer procrastinating and your science project is ahead of schedule for three days(lol). You're probably thinking the "irony" of it all...that thing called procrastination. I want to thank you for entering my "The Procrastination Station" contest.

Good write. I hate it when that happens. I always tended to get my projects done way ahead of time, but I had teachers who would extend the due dates on projects, too and it was annoying because you know, you put in all that effort in order to get it done on time only to find out that you have like another week or so to get it done. Good luck in the contest.
