Tender thoughts of you invade me now
your love a mere whisper across my heart
yet strong enough through time's passage
to cement foundation's for eternity.
So many memories that light my way
many fleeting, yet imprinted upon this soul
you came like the dandelion seed floating in
embedding within me, a willing host.
Soft and gentle like a morning zephyr
airy yet gleaming as freshly laid dew
knocking on my spirits door of fear
turning the key of trust, you entered.
Faith and hope almost certainly forgotten
you re-ignited with constancy
searching your eyes there is no doubt
for my home reflects itself with luminous glow.
Floating on wings of eagle's might
treasured vigilantly within your spell
wisps of time may seem transitory
yet forever locked within, a part of me.
