On the road travelling away,
Off to a new town to start off new.
Think of a clean route, something better.
Drive into this new town.
You're a strung out off the road.
Head off to the bar to give a show.
Daughter product of your ventures,
Eyes show care, you're her provider.
Give into the "easy" road, the one you've always done.
Rock into this old bar.
Strangers eyes glare.
They don't know what you been through.
Walk onto this new stage.
Ready for your thing.
Just one more town you swear.
But you keep on travelling,
On the road, do the things you do.
What keeps you going, most would never know.
Daughter.
When all else fails she cares.
She'll love you forever.

Well this was done for a contest. Inspired by the song "Turn the Page" covered by METALLICA. I didnt want to be too untasteful or tacky on the matter, i saw the better side of the situation. Enjoy.

I love having that feeling that everything will be ohk coz someone else is always looking after you and will fix everything. I know this doesn't actually happen, but it's nice having that feeling sometimes!
