Woo ist me

Last I dare walk the streets of Belfast
was in the mornin' of a fair Saturday dawn.
So sweet were the many loved ones there,
to soon some would be lain fresh on the lawn.

I nair didst not understand it, nor the reasons,
folks think killin's all for the good when done.
Too many I've been seein' buried, a wastin'
both sides, too many been dyin' just way to young.

When ya' all goin'a get ta knowin,
death is just plan wrong.
too oft it set to blood shed
and just as oft to song.

Don't be sayin' it's religion
nary one say it be right to do,
ye be liars if a sayin' it so
it's a crime same as what ya knew.

Heaven waitin' for us all one day
wherein we all gotst to stand afor Him,
don't be tryin' none ya fancy talkin'
things not be workin' same there then.

I had be sain' it wrong as rain
sayin it cause me terrible pain
youin's know it all be wrong  a doin'
Him be sendin' you a place a stewin'.

Author notes

Nary a Belfast bomb be done in lovein'
dedicated to me Irish lass Arden

nary a day goes by, and we loose. och, do we loose. loose so much, for what? naught that i can see, there is no realy side... and ye ken, that 'tis all the same in the end. the youn'un go, ne'er to return, and i canna comprahend all the hate.will we no all 'ave the same explaining to do when comes time for judgeing??? truly touched by this, words crafted by ye ring in the hallows... and wi' any luck, 'twill be finally looked apon and heard. we need to stop. our land, and our babes are no' worth looseing.

many smiles, both sad and glad to ye,

    arden

There is many a Belfast lass that would know the pain you speak of, religion masks most wars but it goes far deeper. Unnecessary deaths in the North still occur, though not as frequent and it is changing slowly but the borders still remain. Slan, C

That was strange, but in a good way. It's something new, I think.
