Today,I was taken from my bank vault,
And I left all my friends behind,
I thought it would be fun,
But it wasn`t.
A woman stuffed me in her purse,
Then used me to buy sweets for her greedy boy,
I was put in a till,
And a metal bar kept punching me in the tummy,
Then the till was emptied into a large sack,
And some masked men carried me out,
There was a hole in the sack,
I flew out of it,
And landed in the sewer,
A black rat tried to eat me,
But a young boy saw me first,
And used a bit of wire and a peg to get me,
He put me in a cuboard with lots more money,
And he is taking us all back to the bank later.
What a day,
Now I can relax,
Oh no, OUCH!
He is making me into a paper airplane,
I wonder where I will end up tomorrow?

Outstnding
This shows all your creative imagination. A great story - I felt very sorry for Tazmin the tenner by the end of this poem - looks like she's had quite a tough day. Very original and interesting to read.

Fantastic
I worked in banks for 15 years, never really thought about it from a bill's point of view
How exciting you make it sound! All these adventures while going round and round to the bank. Just great!
