Here I walk, along my way,
Near the ending of the day.
Moonlight glints off emerald blades
As the sunshine slowly fades.
No more song, of daylight fowl,
Through low melody of an owl.
The milk-white sphere lights my way
Here at the end of another day.
Hands clasped, hearts intwined,
No greater friend would I find.
Than you who walk with me this way
At beggining of night and end of day.
We watched the sun, go down together,
In fair and fouler weather.
Let this be forever night
To walk with you in silver moonlight.
For here you walk, along with me,
And that is the way I wish it to be,
For all, eternity.
A midnight stroll.

The words are beautiful...but I admit I sense some repeatetiveness in the fall of night and walking under moonlight...never-the-less a pretty poem; thank you for entering.
