Dear Heavenly Father,
Today, the enticing fragrance of lilacs
fills my heart,
laden with the need
of a dear friend to many of us,
Your daughter, Lilac Thoughts.
I ask for healing for Lilac's Dad today,
for strength and peace for Lilac and her Mom.
Like a gentle summer breeze,
embrace this family in Your love.
May they find respite from their weariness
in your meadow of comfort,
rest shaded by Your tree of hope.
Quench their thirst in Your river of everlasting promise.
I pray this prayer in the name of your son, Jesus.

O Heavenly Father hear this prayer spoken so softly and yet it rings loudly in my ears. Words of healing and comfort that go beyond and call to the masses. You have given such wonderful blessings here for Lilac and they brought tears to my eyes. The background you created is so serene.
