I have a mad crush on you

Every night I wake up cold
wanting you beside me.
Every day the new and old
feelings roam inside me.

Every day I go to sleep,
longing for you presence.
Every time I see you face
I touch, I feel your essence

All the time we spend apart,
all the time together.
Every crack within my heart,
every blackened feather.

You are my world, and more,
my love, my life, my death.
Living beside you is a chore,
If only you could guess.

If only you could see,
only take my hand,
scream your love for me,
but no, alone, here i stand.

Baby, you are my best friend, see,
and I am so in love with you.
But 2 girls we will forever be,
consummation long overdue,

    my best friend was a girl then we faught over a guy we made are peace with eachother but then never had any contected with eachother great poem you penned it very well good job on the trophy this poem is a winner

    Wow. I'm glad you have can share such strong feelings well in your poetry. Very nice, and the best friends situation is so complicated, especially between two of the same gender. There's always a chance it can grow into more, only time will tell. But time's slow isn't it? Great write and thanks for adding it to the contest.
