Conception of Scent ~ Sonnet (f) What is Beauty?)

Nestled within a crimson dark abode
Sharing their comfort among the seedling
Constant growth, limited comfort from cold
Sitting found wanting, sitting found needing

Affiliation superior to
Sorority of the unscented one
Incubation and pending birth now due
Pollination complete, fetus stage done

Waiting for warmth, illumination seen
Maturity brings aroma to see
Queen of all foliage, sharing life so keen
Waken floral bouquet, welcome beauty

Sweet danger, brings arduous smell unfold
Alive, undaunted, fragrance of a Rose

    Beautiful

This is a very beautiful poem, but it seems that you are not talking about a flower at all but a woman that matures into a true woman, age does not make a girl a woman but how she carries herself, as she blossoms she takes on a the glowing beauty of a rose, delicate yet strong, don't let her thrones prick you. Let me know if I got this wrong , excellent write, I feel that if they would have read between the lines this poem would have won gold, thank you for sharing and keep them coming.

The syllable count is perfect, though the meter a bit choppy. Your imgagery is gorgeous! I liked how you traveled the rose's path from seedling to full flower. And truly, its perfume can be sweet danger, either from bewitchment or those thorns! Thanks so much for entering my contest!
