Childhood days
running through sunbeams
to catch dandelion seeds
that twitched noses and
sparked a sneeze.
Midsummer dreams
and misconstrued acts
pushed behind easy memories
of carefree holidays
when well-kept hands
clasped ephemeral friendship,
warding off cords of remembrance
for love disregarded.
When the seeds of memory scatter
nothing remains but thin air.

Hi Mum. A lovely write. Poignant. Good imagery, flow and tone. Heartfelt. Good descriptives. You paint a picture of your memories that touches the heart. Well penned and much enjoyed.
