A Thankyou!

Whisper sweet kisses
Upon the breeze
A face staring into the sun
Looking at reflections of clouds
From a window.

Fluttered hearts beat
Old men pretend to never weep
Lovers act for show
Honesty is always a trifle low

The sun kissed mountains
Capped in powder white snow
A moment of perspective inhaled
An influx of colors
Paints the sunset of the sky

Such humbleness exhaled
Truth fell from her eyes
Life provided a clarity simple
New hope inspired old demise

Bountiful beauty cascades
The landscape
Encapsulated in her window
Arousing emotional intensity
To conceptualize meaning

These reflections from the window
Provide a gratitude long-overdue
A whisper of kisses on the breeze
A quiet instant to express a Thankyou.

Author notes

This is a collaboration of many things. My travels around New Zealand, the book The Secret, my own emotional experience and the way I have been thinking about life.
