Keep the people broke to keep control

Its so sad the direction this government has left us today . Cant afford insurance for our paychecks barly gives us enough to pay the bills and sometimes not enough at all . How do they expect us to get better training when they leave us out and give all the benefits and loans to the imigrants and I am not speaking of just one kind I am speaking for all and the people who are on welfare that is truly able to work and wont today .The field workers get their health their dental even their gas paid and who can say they work any harder than the rest of us . They say we wouldnt take those jobs .If they gave us the same benefits sure we would but we would be clasified differently therefore we would have to make it on our own . I say let everyone make it on their own and get this world fair as it once was

Really good write here... the capitals made it seem like a protest song more than a political poem. Lots of emotion. Well done and good luck in my contest!

      Thanks

      First of all, cool name!

I never thought of it as a protest song but with a few examples (i.e. Watergate, Monica Lewinsky) it could be a song.

      Thanks for your comments!

The title is a clear introduction. The presentation in all upper case letters is acceptable to me but some poets feel that it denotes shouting.I would perhaps suggest the shocked face emoticon is unnecessary as the words themselves express the shocking reality.Emotion keenly felt throughout this political poem.
